Welcome to the RMIT Music Collective Website

This is the new RMIT music website. As of this writing, it should mostly be accurate and complete. If you would like to access the old website, please click here or use the link in the menu on the left.

The RMIT Music Collective is a student run organisation responsible for organising music and choral groups at RMIT University.

Currently we're running concert and stage bands, a small string ensemble (which we're hoping to expand!), a choir and a recorder group. In the past we've also run a baroque ensemble, a flute ensemble and an orchestra (which we would love to do again if we get the interest).

Our groups are made up of RMIT students, alumni, staff members and also people from outside the university.

RMIT Music isn't just about the music; some might even say that we hold more social events than we do rehearsals. Some of these events include monthly pub nights (sometimes more frequent if we can find a good enough excuse), camps and parties.

If you're interested in joining, the best way is to just show up to a rehearsal (of course you can email us with any questions first if you like). Our membership fee is $10 per semester, or $15 for non students.
